Antoine Renard

Born in Paris in 1984, lives and works between Paris and Lourdes, France.
Graduating with a DNSEP art from the Dijon Fine Arts School in 2008, Antoine Renard is the recipient of numerous awards and residencies, including Inkubator Innovator fellowship (Germany 2015), Goethe Institut Residency Prague (Czech Republic, 2017), Résidence Cheval Noir (with Komplot), Brussels (Belgium, 2018). In 2019, he won the Occitanie prize from the Villa Médicis, and in the same year was awarded the CNAP artistic project grant, as well as a residency at the Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris. Antoine Renard is also the winner of the SACRe 2020 doctoral program at PSL University. His thesis, under the supervision of Pascal Rousseau, focuses on olfaction as an extended field of sculpture.
