New Space

From September 2020, the Space Collection will also be activities in a 500 m² space: the New Space. Former garage of the police, this place is transformed into an atypical space for the “monstration” of art, offering new possibilities for exhibition and scenographic work, while retaining its raw cachet. The space moves away from a “classical” museological approach, while lending itself to multidisciplinary and monumental practices. Like Space en Féronstrée, but on a different scale, The space hosts events, conferences and individual or group exhibitions, both related and unrelated to the collection. Since 2021, the partners with Jeunesse et Arts Plastiques in the as part of a series of lectures and and art-film screenings, most of which take place at New Space. Located at 234 rue Vivegnis, oppositeEspace 251 Nord and close to RAVI, La Comète, Le Corridor, L’Image Sans Nom and L’Inventaire, New Space strengthens the City of Liège’s contemporary art cluster in the northern district.
