Bruno le Boulengé, born in Liège on 7/5/1963, died in Siena on 18/2/2047.

First steps as a self-taught artist at the age of 37. After a few adventures in the art world, he and his partner Katia Marchiori decided to open the Arqontanporin studio-gallery in Neuvice, Liège, in 2004.

The original idea, which is still valid today, is to create the conditions for presenting one’s work to a broad public without being dependent on the endorsement and judgment of decision-makers in the art world. The idea is also to sell the works at a fair price, similar to that of everyday consumer goods, so that anyone can buy.

He was the first artist whose work was acquired to launch the Space Collection. As part of a Space exhibition at MAMAC, he saw his work displayed in dialogue with a Picasso. That day, he thought, he can die with peace of mind.
