In de afgelopen jaren heb ik met mijn installaties op locatie getracht mezelf buiten elke notie van de markt te plaatsen.   <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"x4k7w5x x1h91t0o x1h9r5lt x1jfb8zj xv2umb2 x1beo9mf xaigb6o x12ejxvf x3igimt xarpa2k xedcshv x1lytzrv x1t2pt76 x7ja8zs x1qrby5j\"><span class=\"x193iq5w xeuugli x13faqbe x1vvkbs x1xmvt09 x1lliihq x1s928wv xhkezso x1gmr53x x1cpjm7i x1fgarty x1943h6x xudqn12 x3x7a5m x6prxxf xvq8zen xo1l8bm x14ctfv\" dir=\"auto\">\"Keeping our heads above water\" en \"Press\" zijn twee pogingen om de status van het kunstwerk en de ware grondslagen van zijn waarde en nut in vraag te stellen. Het artistieke gebaar komt dicht in de buurt van het bevestigen van het primaat van een directe en intieme relatie tussen het werk en de kijker, die wordt uitgenodigd om een zekere fysieke verbintenis aan te gaan, gedreven door pure nieuwsgierigheid en emotionele dispositie. Uit deze ontmoeting kunnen transformaties voortkomen. Het werk is des te meer illustratief voor het feit dat het bestaat, dat het alleen 'waard' is in en door deze interactie.     <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"x4k7w5x x1h91t0o x1h9r5lt x1jfb8zj xv2umb2 x1beo9mf xaigb6o x12ejxvf x3igimt xarpa2k xedcshv x1lytzrv x1t2pt76 x7ja8zs x1qrby5j\"><span class=\"x193iq5w xeuugli x13faqbe x1vvkbs x1xmvt09 x1lliihq x1s928wv xhkezso x1gmr53x x1cpjm7i x1fgarty x1943h6x xudqn12 x3x7a5m x6prxxf xvq8zen xo1l8bm x14ctfv\" dir=\"auto\">Altijd dorstig om te leren, probeer ik mijn creaties tot grotere rijpheid te brengen, over hun grenzen heen te gaan en mezelf daarbij open te stellen voor verschillende disciplines.
