Sometimes in large-scale installations, or objects, in photos, videos or drawings. Yet the central element of his work remains photography. Not just in the usual sense, but much more like a judo or, better still, aikido shot: how to use a balance of power by turning it on its head, using the other person's strength to play with it, turn it around or simply expose it where it doesn't belong. This kind of shooting no longer focuses on the moment of release, but rather on the conditions that will enable this action, this operation.      <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"x4k7w5x x1h91t0o x1h9r5lt x1jfb8zj xv2umb2 x1beo9mf xaigb6o x12ejxvf x3igimt xarpa2k xedcshv x1lytzrv x1t2pt76 x7ja8zs x1qrby5j\"><span class=\"x193iq5w xeuugli x13faqbe x1vvkbs x1xmvt09 x1lliihq x1s928wv xhkezso x1gmr53x x1cpjm7i x1fgarty x1943h6x xudqn12 x3x7a5m x6prxxf xvq8zen xo1l8bm x14ctfv\" dir=\"auto\">Alain Declercq has exhibited in numerous museums and art centers in France (Palais de Tokyo on 5 occasions, Mus\u00e9e d'art moderne, Centre Pompidou, Lyon Biennale, etc.) and abroad (Artsonje in Seoul, Moca in Taipei, Mudam in Luxembourg, Museum 21 in Louisville, ISCP or artists space in New York, etc.), and is represented by Galerie Loevenbruck (Paris) and Fontana (Amsterdam). His films have been shown at numerous festivals (rencontres paris Berlin, les instants vid\u00e9os, hors pistes, cin\u00e9ma du r\u00e9el, Transmediale, etc.).
